About Us
Claude St. Hilaire is the President of Home Energy Group. He holds an A.S. in Architectural Design and a B.S. in Civil Engineering.
Claude spent over 17 years in industrial manufacturing. He managed multi-million dollar projects for a Fortune 200 company to increase the efficiency and profitability utilizing the latest technologies available. He has spearheaded several energy reduction projects which reduced the energy impact on the facility saving millions
of dollars each year.
In 2005, Claude made the decision to leave behind “the corporate world” to pursue interests that were more in line with his personal goals and values. He decided to put his years of engineering experience together with his hobby of home building and remodeling, to develop a business that would help people live in homes that
were more comfortable, more affordable and at the same time help reduce energy and protect the environment.
With that thought in mind, Claude attended Home Performance with ENERGY STAR training developed by South Face out of Atlanta, Georgia. He also attended HERS Rater training with Guaranteed Watt Savers out of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and become a certified HERS Rater.
With a unique combination of education, training, experience, and a desire to help people save money and improve their comfort in their homes, Claude brings a different perspective to the home efficiency business.
Nancy St. Hilaire is a HERS Analyst for Home Energy Group. Nancy has a B.A. in English, and a M.S. in Occupational Safety and Health. Nancy became
a HERS Rater in 2006 after attending training with South Face out of Atlanta, Georgia. She also holds a real estate sales license for the State of South Carolina.
So, she can not only help with the energy analysis and green building aspects of a project, but can provide support and assistance in the sales and marketing of certified homes.
